AMQS from the eminent Romanian-born violinist and composer, on a large off-white sheet. Two measures from his Symphony in E-flat, signed “Georges Enesco, 1937.” Lightly toned around the edges, else fine. 17 x 24 cm.The composer's Symphony No. 1 was premiered on Sunday, 21 January 1906 at the Théâtre du Châtelet in Paris, on the fourteenth concert of the 1905–06 series of the Concerts Colonne, conducted by Édouard Colonne.
