Original press photograph of the influential English composer of symphonies, chamber music, opera, choral music, and film scores who was also an important collector of English folk music and song. The composer is seen conducting a rehearsal of the Boyd Neel Orchestra, the London chamber orchestra which made the first recordings of some of the composer's works.
