Striking original press photograph of the great American jazz vocalist and pianist, a gifted song stylist known for her rich voice and perfect pitch, in concert with horn players. Press caption on the verso, translated from the German, reads: "Sarah Vaughan brought hot stuff - The 1954/1955 Berlin jazz season began in the Sportpalast with Harold Davison's "Jazz-Parade." It centered around the black singer Sarah Vaughan, who came to Germany for the first time and, besides Ella Fitzgerald, is today's most important jazz singer.
