Autograph Musical Quotation and Signature

AMQS from the acclaimed Hungarian pianist, teacher, and composer who studied with Tausig in Berlin and with Liszt in Weimar.  He has penned three measures in treble clef, signed boldly and dated New York, December 4, 1880.  This would have been shortly after Joseffy's immigration to the United States and his American debut under Leopold Damrosch.

On the verso, an autograph quotation and signature from the well-known Austrian-born U.S. pianist Fannie Bloomfield Zeisler.  Dated New York, December 21, 1906.  Zeisler studied in Vienna with Theodor Leschetizky and toured widely in the U.S. and Europe.

On an album leaf with light toning and fabric tape remnant on the verso left edge; otherwise in fine condition.  19.2 x 12.3 cm. (12921)
