AMQS from the American composer and pianist, son of the important hymn composer Lowell Mason, and remembered for his Chopinesque piano compositions. Four measures for piano, identified by the composer as his Octave-Etude, are penned in precise detail. Beautifully signed and dated Orange, N.J., February 6, 1882.
