Autograph Letter

Autograph letter from the Irish stage and film actor who found success in Hollywood, acting in over forty films between 1929 and 1946. Dated New York, December 9, 1940, the letter reads: "Dear Oliver: Do you think the Players might do a revival next season and out of your extensive knowledge of the theatre is there any particular play you'd like to see them do?  Sincerely + with kind regards, Dudley Digges."  Letter creases and one small tear to the edge; otherwise in fine condition.  21.6 x 28 cm.
