Typed letter signed from the popular American actress and singer to Mr. Edward Sothern Hipp.  Bailey thanks Hipp for his positive review of her book The Raw Pearl in the Newark News.  Dated September 30, 1968 and signed "Pearl."  Letter creases with very slight tears and discoloration to the edges; otherwise in fine condition.  8.5 x 11 inches.
