Original press photograph showing a military band and an enormous crowd gathered outside Vienna's City Hall at a concert to commemorate the centenary year of Schubert's death. Dated June 23, 1928. The Viennese celebrated Schubert in 1928 with multiple festive concerts through the year, as well as a Centenary Exhibition and the unveiling of a Schubert Fountain.
