Signed autograph note on the verso of a calling card, by the Austro-Hungarian composer and conductor, saying that an edition of his music is available at Verlag Theater an der Wien, giving the address and apologizing for not writing more. "It is five o'clock in the morning - I have worked all night." In fine condition. 9.2 x 5.5 cm.Franz Lehar was the leading operetta composer of the 20th century. His "Die Lustige Witwe" remains a popular favorite in opera houses. (12750)
