"Paul Revere's Ride" - Autograph Musical Quotation on CHRISTMAS

AMQS from the secular cantata based on Longfellow's poem, by the knighted Danish-born composer. Five measures written in ink, addressed to Miss Adele Mead, and dated Christmas 1904. The quotation is a reduction onto one stave of the chorus section beginning "Then he said 'Goodnight.'" On a piece of rigid card with some discoloration and tape on the verso; otherwise in very good condition. 24.8 x 9 cm.


With an original photograph of the composer seated in a relaxed pose at the piano, holding a cigar. Chips to the upper and right edges and lower right corner; otherwise in very good condition. 22 x 16.2 cm. (12712)
