New York: G. Schirmer. 1919. Piano solo, No. 3 Coqueteria from Impresiones de New York, inscribed to the composer Maurice Ravel and signed, "Paris, 15.V.1923 (May 15, 1923)." 7pp. 

One of the foremost Chilean composers of the 20th century, Soro had a long term contract with Schirmer and was the first Chilean to have works published abroad.  His first studies were in his home town of Concepción, but he soon won a government scholarship to study in Milan. He returned to Chile in 1905, and was active as pianist, conductor, composer and teacher. As a composer he specialized in symphonic and chamber music and piano works. In 1922 he was elected as a member of the Society of Composers of Paris. (12611)
