Accompanied by a handwritten and signed note dated April 5, 2013 from June DiMaggio describing its history. 66 in. From the estate of June DiMaggio, niece of baseball star Joe DiMaggio and close friend of Marilyn Monroe.


There are many images of Monroe fishing at different times in her life, including the famous set of color photographs taken by Andre de Dienes around 1945 when he was romantically involved with Norma Jean, as well as later images of her with a fishing DiMaggio as well as fishing with Arthur Miller.
