Judith Marjorie "Judy" Collins (born 1939), affectionately known as "Judy Blue Eyes", is an American singer and songwriter known for her eclectic tastes in the material she records (which has included folk music, show tunes, pop music, rock and roll and standards) and for her social activism. She was a major figure in the folk revival of the 1960s and recorded her own versions of important songs from the period, including Dylan's "Mr. Tambourine Man". (12555)
