Two Original Held Cabinet Photographs
Two original cabinet photographs by Louis Held, ca. 1886. The first is a photograph of a lithograph from Villain after the 1822 drawing by Rochas which was in Liszt's home: "François Liszt, aged 11" with the caption: "Assemblage étonnant de génie et d'enfance - Il a devance l'avenir - Et dans l'âge de l'espérance - Fait déjà naître un souvenir." Small bend bottom left, else fine. The second is of a portrait medal of the composer shown in bust profile. Each approx. 16.5 x 11 cm. (11856)Unsigned Photo Classical Music
