Autograph Musical Quotation
AMQS of three measures penned by the fine Czech virtuoso violinist on a card measuring 13 x 9 cm. Together with a vintage postcard photograph, both in excellent condition.The postcard is inscribed on the verso with a 1909 letter in English to Florence Farmborough (1887-1978, who lived in Russia from 1908 to 1917. On the outbreak of the First World War in 1914 she worked as a Red Cross nurse in the Russian army. During this time she became a photographer and worked as correspondant for The Times and BBC.
