Original lithograph portrait of the French journalist who abandoned his position as director of the Théâtre des Italiens in Paris in 1840 in order to devote himself fully to tending the career of his wife, the great soprano Pauline Garcia. A fine portrait by Belliard entitled "Louis Viardot," published Chez Aubert gal.
