A rare 8 x 10 inch photograph by James Kriegsman, signed and inscribed by the American singer known as "Queen of the Blues" in blue ink "To Raye and Ramon / workin was crazy / Fondest Wishes / Dinah Washington." Small creases to corners, a few areas of chipping to the glossy surface, otherwise very good condition.

Despite her early death, Washington is generally regarded as one of the most influential vocalists of the twentieth century. The original recipients of the present photograph were an acrobatic dance team who worked with Washington in 1960 in Revere Beach, MA. (11579)
