Original 1833 Theatre Royal, Covent Garden broadside for an astounding series of performances held June 24, 1833 for the benefit of the great English actress and contralto singer who was also an important theatre producer and manager. "Madme. VESTRIS has the honour of announcing to the Nobility, Gentry, and Public generally, that her BENEFIT takes place on MONDAY NEXT, June 24th, on which occasion, with the view of providing the utmost novelty and attraction, she has been enabled to avail herself of the kind services of Madame Malibran, Mile. Pauline Leroux, Mlle. Fanny Elsler, Mr. Liston, Mons. Albert, Mons. Daumont, Mons. Theodore Gueriuot, and Mlle. Taglioni. The evening's performance will commence with (by permission of Captain Polhill) the Opera of MASANIELLO ; or, The Dumb Girl of Portici-the first time of its performance at this Theatre.
