Postcard photograph, boldly signed in black ink by the Romantic Norwegian composer, most celebrated for his Piano Concerto in A minor, for his incidental music to Ibsen's "Peer Gynt" (which includes Morning Mood and In the Hall of the Mountain King), and for his collection of piano miniatures, Lyric Pieces.

3.5 x 5.5 inches [9 x 14 cm], adressed on the verso to Lambertini Pinto, "Secrétaire de Légation" and Portuguese diplomat in Rome. A few stray ink marks, overall in very fine condition. (11378)
