Signed color promotional broadside from the great Polish-Mexican violinist who has signed and inscribed in blue ink. 7 x 10 inches [18 x 25.5 cm]. Fine.A student of Carl Flesch and (for composition) Nadia Boulanger, he had a major performing and recording career, and was a frequent collaborator of Arthur Rubinstein and Pierre Fournier. He became a naturalized Mexican citizen after visiting in 1941 on a mission to relocate Polish refugees from the Nazis, and he taught in Mexico for many years while maintaining an active concert career.
