Previously Unknown Childhood Photograph
An extraordinary and apparently unrecorded childhood photograph of the composer and pianist. By Carl Bellach of Leipzig, stamped 1889 or 1899 lower right, but certainly taken around the time of his formative studies with Nikolai Zverev, as compared with other images of the late 1880s.
