Original lithograph, executed in 1978, pencil signed lower right and numbered 35 from the edition of 100. The image is approximately 18 x 20 and framed out to 24-1/2 x 26 inches overall.


Hirschfeld drew musicians always with incredible fluidity and they were, perhaps, his favorite subjects. He drew Horowitz several times and the present example includes the hidden Hirschfeld trademark 'NINA' at the base of the pianist's hair. (11316)
