Boldly signed original Teddy Piaz photograph of the great Polish-Mexican violinist. 13 x 18 cm. In pristine condition, signed and inscribed in Paris, 1958. True signed photographs of Szeryng are very uncommon.


A student of Carl Flesch and (for composition) Nadia Boulanger, he had a major performing and recording career, and was a frequent collaborator of Arthur Rubinstein and Pierre Fournier. He became a naturalized Mexican citizen after visiting in 1941 on a mission to relocate Polish refugees from the Nazis, and he taught in Mexico for many years while maintaining an active concert career.
