A bold autograph signature, "Lillie Langtry" from the legendary actress, royal mistress, confidante of Oscar Wilde, racehorse owner, a maker and spender of fortunes and one of the most elusive natural beauties of all time. A rare autograph, dated April 21, 1883 in another hand, lower left. Sold together with a striking original full-length cdv photograph, stamped "Mrs. Langtry" at the base, but without photographer's imprint. And with a profile bust portrait postcard photograph, signed "Lillie Langtry" most likely in another hand, though there are evident similarities with her authentic signature. (10521)Signature Theater
