October 10, [18]91. 2 sides of a small card on which the illustrious pianist and composer writes to Frau Hermann, translated in full from the German: "My dearest Frau Hermann, I made it through the big Tolstoi tome but no further. Please don’t be angry with me. I would have loved to see your husband in “Schuldig,” having heard so much about it. Will we meet again soon? Warmest regards, Clara Schumann." In fine condition.
