Signed and inscribed at the age of 26 on the title page to the Rumanian pianist, Philip Lazar. An uncommon early presentation copy from the important Russian-American composer who launched his career in Paris working with Diaghilev and Koussevitzky before rocketing into Broadway stardom under the name Vernon Duke and penning such tunes as "April in Paris" and "Autumn in New York."
