The listing, which has been mounted to an autograph album leaf together with the composer's bio from the same program, notes that the conductor led the performance of his work. The date of the performance, February 6, 1943, has been written by the autograph's recipient to the lower left corner. In fine condition. 6.75 x 5 inches (17.1 x 12.7 cm.).

From the program bio: "Mr. Tansman is among the more recent of eminent European musicians who have come to the United States and who are now exerting their influence to make our musical life richer, fuller and more varied...His originality and poetic nature, admirably attuned to the times in which he lives, have given him a place of deserved prominence in today's musical world."
