Later photograph printing of a CDV of the legendary bass in Balfe's 1838 work, "Falstaff," for which Lablache created the title role. This photograph has the Stuart-Liff Collection stamp on the verso and is a fine print of the only known costume photograph of Lablache! 5 x 7 inches (12.5 x 18 cm).
