Signed excised title page (single sheet only) of Gypsy: A Memoir, (New York: Harper & Brothers, 1957), inscribed "To Paul / Greetings / Gypsy Rose Lee." 8.25 x 5 inches (21 x 13 cm). In very good condition.
After unsuccessful attempts at acting, the Canadian-born Lee achieved lasting fame as a burlesque dancer and striptease artist. Her autobiography Gypsy: A Memoir (1957) became the basis of the Broadway musical Gypsy: A Musical Fable two years later.
