An attractive photogravure portrait of the Scottish-born German pianist and composer who was one of Liszt's last pupils, published by Adolf Eckstein of Berlin as one of the possible plates for inclusion in the large volume of portraits of contemporary artistic figures, Musikalisches Deutschland (ca. 1903).
