Caption typed on scrap to verso: "New York, NY, June 24, 1958 — Franz Waxman, noted composer-conductor and 2-time Oscar winner leaves on the SS AUGUSTUS for Italy where he will do the musical score for the Audrey Hepburn film, 'The Nun's Story'. He will be married to Lella Simone in Venice on August 20th. Waxman has just concluded the 13th consecutive season of the Los Angeles Music Festival which he founded and directed." 10 x 8 inches (25.5 x 20.7 cm). Upper right corner bent; otherwise in fine condition.
