[Gluck, Alma. (1884–1938)]. Personally owned April 1919 Victor Records Magazine..

Small format booklet, 23 pp. 7 x 5 inches (17 x 13 cm). Originally obtained from the Gluck/Zimbalist Estate and featuring a photograph of Gluck and husband, violinist Efrem Zimbalist and their son (on a terrifying tiger head rug!), and the text: "Coming at a time like the present, when the first keen rapture of peace regained has subsided, and we begin to realize some of the aftermath of war, this hymn of penitence will appeal to many…Alma Gluck's voice rings out clear and firm, but the spirit is one of humility and supplication. To this is added the divinely tender violin obbligato, which comes like a voice of consolation from heaven itself.” Other similar photo and descriptive features include Heifetz, the Flonzaley, Caruso etc.
