Ink and crayon on paper, executed in 1987.  Signed with the initials RM to lower right; signed "R. Motherwell", dated 1 April 1987, with an inscribed note to the backing board which reads, "To my studio assistant Mel Paskell with deep esteem and in celebration!" In very good condition overall, sheet hinged at the corners of the reverse to the backing board, left edge of the sheet irregularly torn by the artist; faint discoloration to the extreme edges of the sheet, visible upon close inspection; pale fox marks along the right edge of the sheet, visible upon close inspection. 4⅞ by 3 in.; 12.4 by 7.6 cm. Matted and framed under plexiglas to overall 12⅛ by 10¼ in; 30.8 by 26 cm.
