Broadside poem, first edition, first impression, and the first separate printing of the poem, on Arches paper, this being the author's copy, aside from the edition of only one hundred numbered copies signed by the poet.  Certainly the most important example to appear on the market, this broadside is signed and inscribed to her close friend and fellow poet, Frank Bidart: "to Frank - profound artist + beloved friend / x Louise." 19.5 x 15.5 inches.
