Last Saturday, the actress was shopping in San Juan when that torrential downpour hit, soaking half the world. Marlene took off her shoes and hat on Cristo Street and continued walking and shopping around the streets of San Juan. She got soaked, had a few rum drinks in cafes and bars, and spent $1,500 on gifts, souvenirs, and clothing. She bought a gift to take to José Ferrer in Hollywood, and another one for his wife, Rosemary Clooney."
