Cloth hardcover without dust jacket. Octavo. 10.25 x 6.75 inches, 116 pages, 1943.  Signed in ink by the American jazz musician and bandleader on the front free end page "Sincerely / Glenn Miller". Illustrated with musical phrases and images. Nameplate from Library "James D. Higson - Beverly Hills" on paste down end paper. In good condition with some minor shelf wear and small dents/cuts towards the top of the spine, else fine.

Together with the scores mentioned in the text but often missing: two staple-bound oblong folio score inserts (folded, as issued), nine page score for "I'm Thrilled" and eleven page score for "Song of the Volga Boatmen". Good condition, measuring 10.25 x 6.75 inches. 


In 1942, Miller joined the U.S. Air Force and organized the Glenn Miller Army Air Force Band to entertain the troops. In December 1944, on a flight from England to Paris, the plane Miller was traveling in disappeared over the English Channel and was never found.
