Two piece harem-style beaded top with pleated chiffon sleeves, matching pleated chiffon pants from the Estate of Jazz legend, Ella Fitzgerald. With certificates from Bumps Gallery of Beverly Hills which handled much of her personal estate.
Elizabeth Courtney was dressmaker to film stars for more than 40 years and her many clients included not only Ella Fitzgerald, but also Susan Hayward, Judy Holliday, Jennifer Jones, Shirley MacLaine, Marilyn Monroe, Kim Novak and Elizabeth Taylor. She also was a partner in a firm with Ray Aghayan and Bob Mackie, designing costumes for such stars as Marlene Dietrich, Irene Dunne, Joan Crawford, Cher Bono, Ann‐Margret, Diahann Carron, Doris Day, Carol Burnett, Mitzi Gaynor and Diana Ross.
