Vintage sepia postcard photograph of "Master Yehudi Menuhin and Professor Adolf Busch," issued by Herm. Leisner of Berlin, showing the very young violinist with his teacher, outside the Leipzig Gewandhaus, June, 1930. Signed and inscribed in black ink to his lifelong friend, "To my Cleveland Chum, Allen Geismer from Yehudi Menuhin / Jan. 14, 1930."     Approx. 3.6 x 5.6 inches (9.2 x 14.3 cm). A few pencil markings and mounting remnants to verso, else very fine. 

The recipient, Allen Geismer, was a Cleveland native and later a noted corporate lawyer and cultural activist who was legal representative of many prominent musicians and an honorary life trustee of the The Musical Arts Association, sponsor of the Cleveland Orchestra.
