Three volumes [Volumes I-III], in publisher's slipcase Hardcover. 8vo. 560, 627, 625 pp. Navy blue boards with gold lettering and illustration to spines. Spines warped/wavy, but volumes otherwise fine throughout; slip case somewhat worn and speckled. This collection of Van Gogh's letters includes all drawings that were historically included, as well as markings and annotations of the poet Frank Bidart in the first volume. 

From the library of the important American poet Frank Bidart, who received the 2018 Pulitzer Prize for Poetry, the Griffin Poetry Prize Lifetime Recognition Award, and the 2017 National Book Award for Poetry for his book Half-light: Collected Poems 1965–2016. His signature of ownership is on the upper right hand corner of the half title page in the first and second volumes.
