Signed oversized volume commemorating the International Center for Photography retrospective of the important Armenian-Canadian portrait photographer's work over fifty years. Karsh has signed and inscribed on the half title page to noted advertising executive Lester Wunderman, who was also a notable photographer exhibiting at the Metropolitan and other museums, and who, with Cornell Capa, helped found the International Center of Photography in New York: "For, / Lester Wunderman, / with the warm personal wishes of / Yousuf Karsh / 1983." 191 pp. Softcover, with some light shelf wear, but overall fine. 10.75 x 11.5 inches (27.5 x 29.5 cm).

Lester Wunderman (1920-2019) is widely considered the creator of modern-day direct marketing. His innovations included the magazine subscription card, the toll-free 1-800 number, loyalty rewards programs, and many more. He identified, named, and defined the term "direct marketing" in a 1967 speech at MIT, and was inducted into the Advertising Hall of Fame in 1998.
