A fine copy of Hopper's first published book of photography, a collection of striking full-page B&W candids in gravure of both 1960's luminaries (Warhol, Paul Newman, The Rolling Stone) and scenesters (hippies, bikers, etc.). Includes 8pp. of text by Michael McClure and Walter Hopps; designed by Jack Woody.

Hopper was the young man with a camera in the right place at the right time in the new Hollywood. Divided into "Artists and Collectors", "Hollywood", "Music", "Civil Rights March, Selma to Montgomery", "Mexico", and "The Scene", it is a tour de force view of the clash of the old and the new in sixties culture!
