The American artist was known for his innovative work in sculpture and mid-century modern design, creating functional art pieces, including furniture, lighting, and public sculptures, that combined artistic expression with practical use.  Weinberg was a key figure in the mid-century modern design movement and collaborated with renowned designers such as Isamu Noguchi, Alexander Girard, and Charles and Ray Eames. These collaborations allowed him to contribute to some of the most iconic design projects of the era. His works were exhibited in various galleries and museums, and he remained an influential figure in American design until his death.
