Goslar: Edition Mönchehaus-Museum. [1988]. Original commemorative booklet containing the speech given when Gerhard Richter was awarded the Goslarer Kaiserring in 1988, signed on the cover by the artist. The booklet contains the text of the "Laudatio" given by Dieter Honisch, as well as reproductions of several of Richter's signature "blur" paintings. 24 pp. A separate, later insert contains biographies of all the winners of the award from 1975 to 2005. Very fine. 5.75 x 8.25 inches (14.8 x 21 cm).

Ownership signature to the front free endpaper; heavy wear to dust jacket with some significant losses, but otherwise intact; else fine in good dust jacket.

Signed Excerpt from "Delta Wedding"

Typed extract of two paragraphs from the 1946 novel Delta Wedding, signed at the upper right by its author, Eudora Welty, who has also corrected one small typo in the second paragraph. Very fine. 8.5 x 11 inches (21.7 x 28 cm).

Welty received numerous awards, including the Presidential Medal of Freedom, the Order of the South, and a Pulitzer Prize (for her novel The Optimist's Daughter.) She was the first living author to have her works published by the Library of America.

Original photograph of the maverick architect who through his writings and teachings, as much as his designs, created a uniquely American approach to building in the landscape. Lloyd Wright is shown in later life, wearing a high-collared shirt and large silk tie. Matte sepia print, with a few light spots, some roughness to the image surface, and one corner crease; otherwise overall in fine condition. 5 x 7 inches (12.7 x 17.7 cm).

"Bonds Away" - Original Program and Ticket from 1944 Air Force Show

Original program and ticket from a January 17, 1944 Air Force War Bond Show, titled "Bonds Away!" The show took place at the San Francisco War Memorial Opera House and featured an Air Force band and songs, dances, and skits by members of the Air Force. The broadside/program opens to a listing of the show's acts, and then opens out further to a map of the American west coast, with a diagram of the route of the first Air Force War Bond road show. Light overall toning, with the date added to the cover page in ink; overall fine. 7 x 11 inches (18 x 28 cm) folded; 14 x 22 inches (36 x 56 cm) opened. Ticket 4.5 x 2.5 inches (11.8 x 6.4 cm).
