Each part penned in a bold hand throughout, with numerous pencil and colored pencil corrections throughout. The music consists of 17 short numbers, each with spoken cues relating to the play. Herbert has penned six measures of the chorus from his popular song "Kiss Me Again," from the operetta Mlle. Modiste, and added the inscription: "To the first 'auditor' of this little 'tune' from his old friend Victor Herbert."
