1951 Berlin Philharmonic program, boldly signed by the conductor in pencil on the front cover beneath his image and signed additionally in ink by the longtime Berlin Philharmonic Concertmaster, violinist Siegfried Borries. Together with a ticket stub from the performance, which included works by Haydn, Brahms, Wagner and Strauss's "Don Juan," with solos performed by Borries. The program with a horizontal and vertical creases through the middle, otherwise fine.

A finely made chess set of wood and bone pieces (complete, 32 pieces) held in a beautifully ornate white and black wooden box. Box hinge a bit weak, otherwise in very fine condition.

Remarkable 8 x 10 inch photograph of the great Russian pianist, composer, conductor, and teacher, signed and inscribed in 1938 in Russian to the famed violinist and violin pedagogue Ivan Galamian, teacher of Itzhak Perlman, Pinchas Zukerman, Michael Rabin and many other successful violinists: "To my dear young colleague, Ivan Alexandrovich Galamian from the old musician. N.Y. May 22, 1938. A.Ziloti." In fine condition, slight stain along left edge, chipped at upper and lower right corners in blank margin, all of which could be easily matted out of view and otherwise in fine condition.
