Autograph Musical Quotation - "Rite of Spring."

Superb AMQS, the famous tune from the Rite of Spring, this iteration found at rehearsal 12 , the squiggle preceding the b, evidently at attempt to pen the grace notes. Boldly penned on a card measuring 13 x 8.5 cm. Inscribed and dated June, 1943. Fine, mounted to a slighly larger sheet.

In 1943, Stravinsky was revising parts of the Rite, which had originally been premiered in Paris by Diaghilev's Ballets Russes on May 29, 1913.
