A remarkable copy, boldly inscribed in purple ink opposite the title page with an AMQS from ACT V, "à Mon cher et excellent Docteur + ami Dr. Poyet. Massenet. 1881. 1895." Quarter red leather, red marbled boards. Inner front joint splitting, overall strong and otherwise in very fine condition throughout.
