An interesting collection of original hand tracings from musicians including Italian pianist Carlo Zecchi, German pianist Alfred Hoehn, pianist Bruno Kretschmayer, violinist Vittorio Brero, and three others, collected over 30 years. Each has been traced in pencil on an album leaf titled "Forget-Me-Not," and boldly signed. Dated between 1938 and 1965. Collection of nine Berlin Philharmonic programs dated from 1887 to 1890, including three performances under the baton of Hans von Bülow and six under Gustav Kogel with soloists including Emil Blauwaërt (singer), Charles Gregorowitsch (violin), Alfred Grünfeld (piano), Max Pauer (piano), and Marie Soldat (violin), and including early performances of works by Brahms, Damrosch, Gevaërt, Grieg, Raff, Saint-Saëns, Wagner and others, as well as pieces by Bach, Beethoven, Berlioz, Dvořák, Handel, Mendelssohn, Rubinstein, Schumann, Tschaikowski, Weber, and more. Booklets pertaining to performances led by Bülow include extensive essays that include printed examples of various important motivic figures from the pieces performed, and in the back are numerous advertisements for local businesses. The program dated 9 November 1888 includes within a folded copy of the free program patrons would have received at the door, and reveals that these souvenir booklets were purchased at a cost of 30 pfeniges. Two signed photographs of the bandleader and his violinist wife, who toured as a part of the Phil Spitalny Hour of Charm Orchestra. The first, signed by Spitalny, shows him on stage with his famous all-woman orchestra, and is inscribed "Sincerely,/ Phil Spitalny." The second, signed by Kaye, shows her tuning her instrument, and reads: "Musically yours,/ Evelyn and her magic violin," followed by a brief and unidentified musical quotation.
