Signed Photograph
Three really marvelous signed photographs of opera legends, all of which were tragically split in half on their way to us due to poor packaging. Each is mounted on brittle old backing, each approx. 6 x 8.5 inches, each with further nicks and chips around the edges. The signatures are bold and clear, the images really marvelous. If they were in better shape, we'd be looking at a regular total price in the ballpark of $1500; the Caruso can still be matted as a square SP without faults due to the break well under the inscribed area and upper half of the photograph. With some clever use of archival tape on the back, a good matting, they could all be fit back together and displayed - but no doubt, it's a project. Perhaps you'd like to try? Read More...
