Group of eleven ca. 1930's–1940's black and white photographs, with graphic design featuring rolls of film, bands, instruments, dancers and singers, and musical notation. These transition or background photographs were used in an unidentified, evidently music-themed, film, to transition from one sequence to another, or possibly in a film credits montage. Edge wear and rather buckled; overall very good. Each 11 x 14 inches (35.3 x 28 cm).
Original playbill from the 1964 musical Golden Boy, signed on the cover by the American actor and singer Johnny Brown, who played the supporting role of Ronnie. The cover shows the play's star, Sammy Davis Jr. 32 pp. Fine. 6 x 9 inches (15.2 x 23 cm).
Brown's role in Golden Boy earned him early recognition; he was to go on to perform as a comedian on Laugh-in and as building superintendent Nathan Bookman in the 1970's sitcom Good Times.

Among the subjects portrayed are radio executive Glen Rice and one of the country singers he promoted, identified as Hubert; a man dressed in Arctic furs, identified on the verso as John Herman Flyn (two photographs), and an actor identified as R.
